That refers to something that is neither asked nor told. You know it or you don't...hafftrak wrote:Monkey-Gein wrote:in B4 $2.14

If you STILL haven't sold this car, then try this:
1. Wash it before you take the picture!
2. Try Craigslist, if you haven't already (you'll get a lot more bites than here)
3. Don't entertain the dipsticks who ask you to drive it to them. Period.
I recently sold a car thru CL, and in that price range your car may get buried fast, so list ALL the options (did I see a sunroof?) that make it standout a little. AC? Other power options? etc. Probably good selling points...Weed out the clowns from the serious inquiries. Anybody who is worth showing the car to will express enough enthusiasm to come see it. Sounds basic, but I had idiots asking me to drive it to them (gimme a f'n break!), do their homework to find out how much it would cost them for insurance (yah, riiiiiggghhht). Lastly, some would (probably wisely) advise that you meet any potential buyers at a Wal-Mart or the like for your protection.

My car isn't fast... but don't tell it that, cuz it wants to be
