SOHC or DOHC?!

Ok...so ever since i bought my SVT (March '08), I have been told, that it has the 2.0l l4 w/ a SOHC. Well...I had to get a new oil drain plug (thanks to the guys at Oil Can Henry's), and when I told him it was the SOHC, he gave the plug, i get home and it was too small. So after my bro drove me back to Autozone, the guy looked up the one for the DOHC, and that was the right one. So...my actual question is...Was the '04 SVT a SOHC or DOHC?! and...how do I tell?!

All zetecs (and SVT) are DOHC, because they have two camshafts. You can tell by taking off the valve cover.

x2, just look at the side with the serpentine. if the cam cover is the length of, about a foot ball, then its twin cam (DOHC) if its just like a baseball its a single. or if it sayd SPI then its a single cam... lol. otherwise, if the spark plugs (normaly) are in the center on the top of the motor, then its a DOHC, if theyre on the side, or the front by the header then its single. Foci, scorts, all the same...

SPI = single/ Zetec = dual / SVT Zetec = dual / duratec = dual. ok, the idiots at AZ are fuck tards, and sorry to say you're pretty dumb to belive them. do you not know anything bout your car. the AZ guys should have known from thier computer should have told them. you have no exuse.

ok...listen, dipshit. I will admit, i may not know everything about the SVT/engine. But, i was pretty sure it was a dual, and after everyone kept telling me it was single, I wanted to make sure, so I simply posted it on here, just lookin for a simple answer. Not for some jackass to start trash talkin me. I love this site, and the majority of th epeople on here are great, and helpful. woa, you hurt my feelings.. jk. but, wow, didn't think what i said was THAT mean. i more blame it on the AZ guys. i mean, you got some fault not being sure yourself. but i understand you put trust ( over your own judgment) in the guys that sell the parts and have the computer right there.
when i first got my 07 i went to AZ and i was all like, i'll get a k&n for now. went up and they said there was no k&n for my car.. i was all like "bullshit" (cause it was in 07, figured the thingy wasn't updated yet). so i had them order a filter for an 06 (my dad's [god fuck his soul] 06 looked the same).... how stupid was i? i'd say just as stupid as you not knowing that your motor was dohc. stupid mistake, just easy to make. GOT IT?!?!?!?! NOW GET THE FUCK OFF MY BALLS!!!!! jk, that was for shock value.... woh, too many barley pops...
