I use FF for the For Sale area now. I did use it for research. I felt like I was getting dumber in their tech area at times.

You guys know full well that I loved FJ but they shit on me and shit on me again. I said fuck it and went to FF. In under 1,000 posts I'm a mod and have made a nice new home for myself. I put up with a lot of shit of FJ, FF I have to deal with none.
I honestly don't know what to say to your guys. Only thing I can think of is the dura section, I hear that gets pretty unruly. Other than that I'm at a loss.

and yes there are 2 Toms. Tom that site creator/admin and Turbo Tom (1turbofocus).

From what I remember, Steve did'nt even post in the thread.

The thread was about someone just stating he got good cust. service from Steve when he ordered parts. But FF being FF, some asshole starts a war stating that Steve has no tech experience, and only sells useless shitty parts from an office. If anyone has ever talked to Steve for a minute, they know he knows his shit around cars. Obviously someone was posting out of their ass because, well, why not? Its fucking FF!!

So all hell broke loose about a Miles vs. Steve thread. I've never heard of Miles, so I've got nothing good or bad to say about him or the dealer he works at. But with Steve not being a site sponsor, the mods sided with Miles' groupies and pretty much started making threats towards anyone that sided with Steve posting in the thread.

The way the thread was modded pretty much shows how shitty the site is ran...and how piss poor the whole thing was handled...starting with some random ass posting for no reason about shit they did'nt know what they were talking about.

But all well. I'm not too worried. When I logged into my screen name, the last time visited stated it was August of 07...so I'm not out much.
And if it ruffled soo much 'feathers', then copy and post it in here...cuz I'm sure this thread will be viewed by or shared with other FF members/mods...They can see our side of the subject, why not be able to see theirs?

I dont even have a FJ account so cant compare both.
As far a Turbo Tom, I've talked to him a few times on the phone and he has been freindly and knowledgable. Taking time to help with problems and questions I had about builds. But he posts like he's god or something.
