Well, the old jack gave up the goat not much more than a year after getting it for Christmas. I decided I'll probably continue to need a jack for some time so I might as well get a decent one. So last night I picked up this baby:
Craftsman 3000 lb jack

This one actually fits underneath my car! No more driving her up on 2x4's just to fit the jack underneath. I used it today to put my summer tires on my car. It's money!
Believe me- after 8 1/2 months and 4 engine blocks, the car definitely earned the name Debacle.


I don't like Tom (and neither should you).

nice..yea i got a 2 ton jack like that...not so fancy with the padding but i love it!

nice... the ultimate test can be my car. I couldn't leave the ramp at the convention center yesterday because my car is too low. I ended up haveing to go to the top so I wouldn't scrape the frame.
