Well we didn't get any pics last night, but the intake mani and the alternator got bolted on. Thanks to trahma and PitchBlack for shivering and helping me out in the cold ass garage last night. i really appreciate all the help i have received and can't wait to get this beast on the street. may not be the prettiest, but will be awful fun to drive.
I will have new pics soon. There wasn't a tune on the car and the guy at the now closed shop revv'd it (as far as i can tell) had detonation blew the ground off a couple spark plugs and they bounced around a bit, destroying the top of the pistons and the head.
I am at 9:1 compression now, T3/T4 hybrid turbo, 2.5 inch down pipe, early 2000 intake manifold, 70mm MAF 42lb injectors, SCT pro racer pkg. 65 mm throttle body along with other go fast parts.
Still no pics, but i should have shot some video of it running last night. That's right, the beast was cranked and started up. Of course it took a while, there is still an issue too. It is either a bent intake cam (which i doubt), or a misaligned or out of round cam gear. The intake cam bounces around and causes the engine to vibrate. I will be redoing the cam alignment. Before it started acting up it ran nice as hell. building nice vacuum (boost will come later) but the idle was a little low compared to what the programming is set for. Then it started to shudder so i shut it down. restarted and looked at the engine to find the cause and saw the cam gear making an oval pattern. Any ideas??
What the!?!?!? You mean to tell me You still ain't got this thing done?!?!?! Man, You shoulda just carted it up here to Isanti, I would have been glad to do all the work for ya!

Not quite ready for prime time. It definitly will have scoots, but the damn Greddy Type S BOV is leaking, i cranked it down and it got worse (It stalls when you lift off the gas) the Type S is known for this kind of thing. I have no idea where it was purchased from, since it was purchased through a shop that no longer exists. So i am stuck, i prolbably have to but a new diaphragm which are 60-80 bones. I am still breaking in the engine and need to get it to the Dyno after about 500 miles of whimpy driving. I don't think my neighbors like my exhaust tone though, i do

If cranking down the spring does'nt help with the stalling, you could allway's pipe it back into the system. I've tried both, recirculating just make's it drive better.
