I'm going to be installing some 12" cold cathodes under my dash within the next week hopefully and I want to get my stuff straight before I start.

1.)Where is the best place to wire up the positive and negative wires?

2.)Where is a good spot to mount the tubes themselves?... I was peekin' around and it didn't look like there were too many prime spots to mount the lights to.

please help me I'm a noob... :?

You can get power from teh fuse box using a Fuse-Tap. It'll be easier. The ground and just go to any ground under the dash there, you find some I'm sure.

For the fuse tap, a good place to use, is teh cigarette lighter/ACC power out.

What exactly do you mean when you say "fuse-tap"?
