Alright everybody, it's about that time. So here's the plan. We're going to be getting together on Saturday, 7/31/04 at Eric's House to grill. Rod suggested a spot, but I'm a dumbass and didn't read my private messages. So to make things right (and because I can), we're doing things in Roseville.

Location:
Eric's House (Casa de Doughboy)
1048 Roselawn Ave. W
Roseville, MN 55113

Time:
7/31/04 - 6:00PM

After eating, we're going to be utilizing the Amish Pornstar's camera which does a pretty good job of getting great pictures. Thus I suggest you wash your cars so I don't hear anyone whine about their car being dirty.

Afterward if the weather is nice enough we may hit Opus and do some taping otherwise possibly University.

We'll also talk about driving in together to the MNSC meet which occurs on Sunday, August 1st.

So do us a favor and RSVP here so we can get to planning.

Sure, pin a failure on a guy without a Focus. Nice! I thought this spot would be nice because OPUS 2 has some unique photo areas (large open parking lots, twisties for on raod action). I will try to have my car there!
Slower than your stock focus.

Just wanted to mention one other thing...

MNSC will be entering Autovations this year. It's essentially a HIN style show in Minneapolis. It's $45 to enter your car and the entrance fee comes with 2 wristbands to get in. Normally bands are $15 in advance so it's really not too bad to enter your car.

If anyone wants to enter their car with MNSC, we're pushing close to 50 cars we'll be entering with along with a few other Foci. We are asking for an extra $40 for entry to help pay for personalized plates everyone will receive, the shirts we're having made, plus paying for us to have power. Thus it would cost $85 to enter your car.

As far as entering, we need all monies in by August 1st so we can plan our display and such. You can get full info over at the mnsc site. I'll be able to take in money for the show at both the MNFOC and MNSC meet.

All in all I had a great time doing this last year, and would love to see more than 2 Foci this year at the event.

I'LL BE THERE!!!!!!!

All I ask is that everyone is nice to the house, the neighbors, the road, etc.... I can probably fit 5 cars or so in the driveway and there's plenty of parking on the street for everyone else. I have plenty of space in the back yard, but only one picnic table and another table with two chairs. We do NOT have a working grill so someone will have to provide that. As far as entertainment, I have the insane home theater in the basement and we also have a 53" HDTV upstairs. The theater can only hold 6-8 people comfortable, so it's not like we'll all be able to hang down there and watch movies. The whole Xbox/Halo idea has been mentioned and I think that would be an awesome idea. We could have one set up downstairs on the 50" plasma and one upstairs on the 53" projector for some four-on-four action! Down side is- I don't have an Xbox, so we'll need people to bring them.

Also, we need to figure out how we're dealing with the food/drink issue (I'm sure as hell not paying for all of it :)). I have a nice cooler that we can use to dump ice and soda in to keep that cool. We'll need quite a bit of hamburger, dogs, brats, buns, etc. depending on how many people show up. Anyone have any good ideas on how do deal with that?

As far as directions, it's not that tough. If you're coming in from Hwy 36, take the Lexington exit and head south. Go down to the stoplights for Roselawn Ave and take a Left (east). Take the first right on to Oxford and we're the quite house on the corner.
Believe me- after 8 1/2 months and 4 engine blocks, the car definitely earned the name Debacle.

I don't like Tom (and neither should you).
