Anyone need a good honest mechanic???

Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

Hey all, Just a quick suggestion if you need a really good guy to work on your Focus (or other Ford).

The guys name is Vince Lutz and he was a tech here at Tousley until recently when he opened his own shop, He was also the ONLY guy that worked here that I would let work on my SVT if that gives him any credibility.

He was a tech at Tousley for I believe about 17 years.

His shop is Lutz Automotive and he is in Hugo, His phone is 651-429-9206.

He is seriously one of the best Ford techs anywhere and a really good guy.

He will be performing any work on my SVT that I can't do myself.

you mean to tell me you wouldn't trust rob with your car?

you do know he owns half of a SVT now, so he is like an expert or something

I'm not sure it's quite half, maybe a third. Theres a lot more to it than the engine and trans.

I'm not the only one here who used Vince almost exclusively, I don't think Rob ever worked on one of my cars but I know that every time someone else touched my 2000 ZX3 they screwed up something.

It does appear that Rob must know a little something since he seemed to handle that swap with relative ease so you have to give him credit for that.

BTW- Rob, if you ever did work on one of my cars now would be a good time to stay quiet since I am not kidding in the least about the cars getting screwed up EVERY time.
