i am thinking about putting turbo/sc to my matic zx3.
any idea where to redo the tranny with a decent price? and how much is it usually?
any suggestions what turbo/sc to use if i want to get 1?

what kind of tranny do you have?
If you get a sc get the vortech.

I hear the vortech is a pile of crap though. Makes me wonder why someone would buy one.

I had not heard that. Jackson Racing makes an overpriced supercharger good for 50hp.
What are you looking for from your car and what kind of budget?

its the stock tranny. i haven't done anything to it yet. do i have to redo it? o well..i'm not sure yet how much my budget gonna be. probably around 2-3k?
so which one is better jrsc/vortech or turbo?
and any idea how much if i have to redo my tranny?

it depends on what tranny you have. I meant auto or 5 speed?
If you have an suto it will be like $2000 for the lenntech tranny and I don't know what you have to do to a 5 speed but I think it's alot less money.

what about the jackson racing with a smaller pulley? wouldn't that make the purchase worthwhile?
