WTB 01 focus 5 speed tranny

im not sure if i can put the svt six speed in it or not but if i can i would like to get my hands on one of those lol

Can't tell you much about the tranny, other than miles. It's still in a car I bought at the salvage auction. All one can do is assume that it must have been driving fine when the crashed.

What the hell are "grinds" anyway? I assume you mean any noise when driving down the road? I got the car at a salvage auction, it's hit in the front, it is not drivable.

They're referring to grinds you get when a synchro is going bad. Since you've never drove the parts car you have no way of knowing. Could always have someone crack it open and check everything out if the buyer was worried about it.
