So it happened, sold my 2002 CD silver SVT after twelve years of ownership. Best, most reliable car I ever owned. Sad to see it go but the replacement was something I couldn't pass up. The new car isn't a big change though as you'll see below Image it's a 2004 CD silver SVT, a few less miles and quite a bit cleaner than my old one which is going to be moving to northern Minnesota to live with another Focus enthusiast family. If I could have found a way to keep the 02 and buy the 04 I would have but there's simply no way.

Only issue with the new one is that something under the hood makes a whiney noise over about 3000 or so and it gets really loud up near redline, have to work on that a bit. Image

Already swapped wheels, short throw, will be keeping the rack and my custom front grille but I'm leaving mine pretty much intact for the new owner simply because it is one of the best driving SVTs I've ever been in and is actually more responsive in the low and midrange than the new one is but that will just take a few tweaks to get it where it should be.

Old car had a sunroof too, other than interior color the cars are virtually identical to each other.

New car has less miles, no dings or dents, no rust to speak of, cleaner in general as the previous owner never hauled kids or pets in it. Lets not forget the added bonus of a supercharger. :)
