So I got this here blower for free. I feel the SVT, M60, is just too small and pathetic; 199whp and all. So how can I bolt this badmammajamma on the mighty Focus?

Find a jackson mani or make one. Possibly have to find a input housing to locate the pully. A tune a maf and injectors. Oh belts and brakets and a crank pulley. But you are going to hatebhaving more than what that chassis can put to the ground from a deqd stop..... wheellllllll spn....whhheeeellllll spiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnn.... second gear......wheeleellllleeeellll sppppppiiiiinnnnnnn rev limiter...... third gear ...... heeeeeeellllllll spinnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Me being eccentric/bat-shit crazy aside,

I can't remember how to read S/C maps.

Flow map for a 112:

Delta Temp. map:

HP to drive the S/C:

Eaton says the 112 comes from how much air it moves with 1 rotation.
So basically the S/C is equal (92%) to total engine displacement.
That means I need to slow it down quite a bit as in half speed. Something like 4,000 rotor rpm would be around 7,000 engine rpm. Unless I'd want to make oodles of boost, which being high compression I don't think is a good idea. But then this whole thought process isn't a good idea.

Just kinda talking so I don't forget ...

Working on it.
Just figuring out the math first so I have some type of starting point.
Step 2 is making it'll physically fit and finding a good orientation, belt routing, etc.
Step 3 is having all the parts I think I'll need made, bracket for alternator, manifold flange, blower base, intake runners ...

I figure cams are expensive, so that's the budget I set for myself. If I can get it done for ~$1,500 or less, I'm ahead of the curve.

Cams are super expensive for the SVT.. Blank's are pricey then getting them ground down.. More than I was looking to spend but that was also 4-5 yrs ago. Probably done nothing but go up in price.

VCT delete and reground SVT cams actually (just a tad bigger than stock grind).

Brandon, the $1,500 is my budget to get the S/C up and running, not cams.
I know I said I'd never go boost but ...

Actually juice is cheaper/easier short term. Which is the alternative ... something like a 150 shot.

But you can run out of spray. And take in the cost of filling over a year. I still think boost is more cost effective. Either way it should put a smile on ones face. 8)

Have to remember that I'm not really looking for something, added power, for daily use. Only racing and the occasional S&G use.
But a big shot, 150'ish, does go pretty quickly.
