Hey Guys!

At Minnesota State University, Mankato our SAE club is having a car show this spring.

The show is Sunday, May 1st from 1-5pm. We are having the car show to bring the community together and show what our Automotive Engineering Technology program is all about. A few of our student projects will be on display along with all the entries!

It only costs $10 to enter your vehicle, free to look, and there will be food, games, and live music!

Also, your business can donate to the car show for just $30! For $30 you would be purchasing a trophy with your business name on it and be able to present it to the car of your choice at the show.

For more info check out the website and registration is already open.

It'd be awesome to get some focus peeps there!

This is quite a possibility. My friend goes to school there and it could be an excuse to go visit him.

I know people who have gotten jobs in manufacturing, another guy is on Ford's Tech Hotline as an in to the company. Alot of grads go to be design/testing technicians for companies like Toro, Polaris, Arctic Cat, etc. Alot of those local places. You can get into CAD drafting, or go work at a speed shop. We also do a lot of work with hybrid vehicles, emissions, E85 stuff, etc. We just built a brand new emissions testing building that supplies almost all of it's own power from solar panels and a wind mill.

It's a program that's easy to get into. Unfortunately that means a lot of idiots get degrees, but if someone applies themself, this degree can build a lot of tools to get a great job.
