Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

No, you can't have a two door. Ford has decided we don't want a two door and they know what we want better than we do.

Which really sucks because it would be mad tight to have a 2 door version. What's the feel on the price of this thing? $45-50k??

If you want to know the price just shop the competition, wouldn't make sense to price yourself out of the market.

I'd guess it'll come in about the same ballpark as an STI.

STI is currently $35-$39k, I could see the Focus RS in the $40k range.

As if you didn't know, details have been released, no pricing or final horsepower numbers though.

How did pre-ordering that work? I've talked to a few dealers and I mostly get told I can't do anything because pricing hasn't been announced yet

The bad thing is its drive train is computer controlled. So tuning is gonna be a pain . it has a drift button? It too is going to fall victim to oil consumption like all new cars...thanks low tension rings, direct injection and extended iul changes.
