Re: winter tires?

Up to the bumper eh, beginner  http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d120/iminhell/focismall.jpg My Blizzaks got me stuck :( Biggest difference I noticed was control. The sidewalls on the Hankooks are stiffer and you can still corner pretty good on them. I actually lost control a few times with the...

Re: winter tires?

Blizzak's suck compared to the Hankook's.

I had the Blizzaks to begin with, 2 winters, and now have the Hankooks, 1 winter so far. Best tire by far.

Re: Spill them beans! No secrets allowed!

I have lots of secrets, well sort of. You'd have to read my postings on several sites, then I'd have none. I have driven my car through a plowed field doing about 60, on purpose. I have been "hill climbing" with the car (between Green Isle and Henderson there are some nice hills in BFE). I...

Re: Question about (chassis?) noises

I was going to say sway bar end links, front. Those crappy plastic bushings get dry and make people think there is a sexy party in your ride. Replace with Moog or the no names (that are actually Moog) from Steve. btw if a spring breaks don't let this happen: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d120/im...

Re: Looking for a capacitor

Brax should make something right up your alley if it's looks and performance you want, but you pay for it. Personally I'd just make sure the charging system is up to snuff as well as the grounds and run a second battery with a battery isolator. I really have no input on batteries other than maybe Li...

Re: foci in st. cloud?

Like I mentioned on the other site, I get up there on weekends usually, but my home is Darwin (about 45 minutes south). Ryan, this guy was interested in doing a wire tuck and "the big 3". Maybe you could lend him a hand? I might be able to but you know how limited my time is right now, but...
