Re: Hi Performance Fusion

The problem is, when the fusion came out i think the v6 in that outperformed the mustang with the same engine. They wouldn't want to pull sales away from the mustang. haha. I think that not that the stang is 300 hp, maybe they will have a SHO fusion or something along those lines?

Re: Who needs a Transmission???!!!

Take your time. It's a big job and there's a lot of ways to add expense if you mess something up. If you have the money and skill/tools, you may want to pick up an limited slip. You have to drop the trans to do it and having one is awesome!

Fender Rolling

Well, it's been happening for while, but with my Imola's my tires rub on the lip a good bit. Plus my winters rubbed last year too. Anyone know someone who rolls fenders or a place I can get a fender roller. Don't really want to use a baseball bat...

Re: Who needs a Transmission???!!!

The only thing I really worried about when my slave leaked was that the trans was like half empty. But I dove on it for like 3 months with an unknown slipping clutch before I took it apart. Put new fluid in it and it was fine.

Re: Who needs a Transmission???!!!

Yeah, I would just do the whole LUK kit of ebay. Swap in some good new trans fluid and drive it.

If you really want to, you could open it up and check the magnet for metal chunks or anything. But like Steve said, it's not fixable, it's a replacement.

Re: Who needs a Transmission???!!!

I had a leaky slave, replaced the clutch with a luk kit that comes with a new slave. Change the trans fluid. Works fine.

Re: transmission problems?

I'm going to start with the obvious, was it full of fluid? Does the fluid smell burnt at all?

Re: WTB: SVT parts (floor mats, headlights, front seat)

I have a stock shift knob, but I'm kind of partial to keeping it just because. Toss me an offer, i'd probably sell for a decent price. Has like 60k worth of driving on it. Pretty good condition.

Re: Cheap Tablets tomorrow

Problem is, HP probably won't release updates, so they are going to become obsolete mighty quickly.

Trust me, I hate that F'n door. Was on there when I bought it. I have posted on FJ looking for a stock one but no one will sell me one!
New unpainted is pricey too.
