With the automatic, You may be better off paying to have it done. The automatic is a pain in any vehicle, but is even worse in the Focus. I have never done a Focus auto, but I know I can do it, if You're interested, I can do it for alot cheaper than a shop, and if You're helping it will be less and ...

Just a bit of info for those interested in Tom's stuff when He says the MAFS are the problem. I have recently been going through some problems with one of his kits with an engine of his We installed. After about 6 months of screwing around with the kit, the customer went to Lidio in Michigan, physic...

If the rust is deep, then I wouldn't even use them...

If it is just surface rust, just use brake/parts cleaner to clean the entire camshaft, and install it. everything will work out! :)

I doubt an hour, but atleast a couple. The timing belt on the Zetec is easy to replace, but it will take a couple of hours. It is a non-interference engine like PBZX3 said and no engine damage should of happened.

Vortec has been around for a long time also. It looks liek a real nice setup, but I would watch out where You get the "tuned" setup from. I have some experience with Tom's "tuning" and am very very unimpressed! :( :( :( Especially for the high price. I personally do not like the ...

If it's just an intake manifold, I would be willing to drag my tools up to Duluth just to make a g2g out of it. :)

Any luck on getting this installed? You can ask a couple of guys here or a few others at focaljet. I've got a little experience with the Focus. If You need a hand to do this I would feel more than happy to discuss it with You.

Let me know

Hey Focal, I dragged my automatic bone stock and actually did pretty good.:) I went with 2 of my buddies, one with a '92 Mustang GT and the other had an oil burnin' 305 Firebird. I almost beat the Firebird! :)
