Those are $79/tire from tirerack, with $42 2-day shipping, So $358 which means I'd need to find a cheap place to get them mounted up. Saturn will mount and ballance a set of 4 for $50. That's the price including tire disposal, so it may be cheaper if you don't have old tires to get rid of. That's w...

I meant I would like to add 2 sockets with the correct wiring for the euro tails and just remove the bulbs from the OE sockets and tuck them away. I'm willing to make my own subharnesses for euro tails and leaving the OE ones mostly intact. It looks like there should be enough room to push the empty...

Is there enough room back there for a second set of sockets? I'd kind of like to make mine as reversable as possible if I do it, and that'll probably mean adding 2 sockets instead of using the existing ones.

I take it they changed the wiring between 2000 and later models? If so, any instructions for the later ones? I've got a couple 2000s, but I want to look at anything out there to see if I can make sense of it. It shouldn't be too difficult.

If it's got the stock SVT steering wheel, I'd like that. Could you find out how much that would be?

Did they give you a pricing breakdown? I'm trying to figure out how much it would cost to paint a rear bumper with a basecoat/clearcoat.

Yeah, they're losing 126 of their 237 stores nationwide. All 4 in Minnesota are getting the axe.

Yeah, the time I saw that car in Performance Ford was the first time I actually wanted a Focus.

anybody uses yokohama iceguard winter tires before? any comments on that particular one? Meh. That's what I've got on my XR4Ti and they're nowhere as good as my old Blizzaks were. The only reason I got them is because it saved me $120. Of course, the Focus might like them a lot better than the XR d...

The guys that plow our lot just kept piling the snow up next to my car. None of the bastards in my building can park, so there were 2 almost-spots in the lot. I was finally able to move my car into the lot yesterday, but it took about 15 minutes to get it out of my spot on the street. My wife was wo...

So what are you doing for reverse lights? Or are you just foregoing that? I really want amber turns, but I don't want to lose my reverse lights or hack something in (and I sure as hell don't want to spend the money on a Euro bumper).

If there was too much resistance it wouldn't draw enough current to pop the fuse. It actually started working again spontaneously, so I'm guessing when I got my car wash the mechanism got wet and started sticking. Today the car was parked in such a way that the door was warm enough to free it up. It...
