Re: ebay intake

My gripe has to do with the laziness of it all. There is no proof what so ever that the Cosworth intake is 'the best'. It's built around a specif RPM range and air flow capacity. Anything above or below that, the manifold will be detrimental to power ... but the kiddies can't see that, they've been...

Re: xcal3 f/s

you can use an xcal3 on any pcm code that is listed. It does not have a preloaded tune on it for a focus, if that is what your asking. You would still have to go get a dyno tune, like the big kids do. 8) you mean like this... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v197/goinloco1/video/th_Focusfest09097-...

Re: E85 SVT?

Todays cars can handle e85 without a problem. All fuel systems are designed with ethanol in mind (most fuels contain 10%). the only weak link is the steel fuel line itself, which really isn't much of a weak link, regular gas also absorbs water and it runs through the same line. the only thing with t...

Re: wtb used kart

Any particular style? I've got a frame in the garage that I'll probably never touch. No pics right now but I can get some. It needs work but it looks pretty solid. have axles and wheels with it? I have a winter project in mind and a friend with a wrecked crotch rocket, the rear of the frame would b...

wtb used kart

If anyone has an old kart sitting around let me know. Don't care about the engine but the chassis has to be decent.
Shoot me a price.

Re: End Of The Quest: SVT w/JRSC+BBK Tune

db did mine last year and got a whoping 197whp @5psi. I know for a fact it was reading low, they pulled a wrx on afterwards and it pulled 210whp stock. should have been in the 230 range. the reason svtf are a bitch to tune is the vct. its really a pain to dial in and if someone hasn't worked with it...

Re: Catch can... the making of

now thats an idea for a holder. simple, cheap, and effective.
my cars down for a bit while I change the cam belt and related crap. my tensioner started rattling and bouncing, so may as well replace everything while I'm there. found a place to get the kit for 62 bucks and ten shipping...

Re: Catch can... the making of

Well I got to this today. Can't use a Seafoam can. SOB crushed on my test run of 1 mile  . Sitting and idling it was fine. Hopefully a water bottle will hold up to 14" of vacuum. If not I'll have to make something, yay. you are using a filter on the top so it can breathe aren't you? if no...

I know he has one sitting there that the interior hasn't been touched. engine and tranny are also still intact last I looked. frontend is gone otherwise. give him a call, he's not rediculous on price like most.
