squeak and squeal
I have developed or at least recognized a squeak that is road speed sensitive that does not change with the addition of brake or when turning either direction. It is definitely speed sensitive and fairly high pitched with definite pulsing at slow speeds I am thinking possible rear bearings, very ear...

Re: Invader hood
Just get a spray bottle and when you need it roll down the window and go to town  BTW-don't run the CF hood in the winter unless you want it to be junk within two years. The right spot down town you may be able to find someone to run out to your car with a bottle and rag to wash your windows f...

Re: fancy shmancy wiper blades
Your poor cars kyle!!! Rusty hoods, always swapping wheels, mismatched wiper blades... Going ghetto on us?o2designs wrote:I'm using one Ford wiper, and one Michelin edge wiper blade. They seem to work the same, and when frozen do lose alittle effectiveness. No different then normal crappy metal blades.

Re: winter tires?
I recently purchased a set of Hankook i-pike w409's, for the past two winters I was riding on the stock Goodyear rsa's and would get stuck on flat icy surfaces, slush, snow over 3-4 inches deep, and any slippery hardpack. Trying to start up a hill from a complete stop was insane  I like the i-...

fancy shmancy wiper blades
Steve,
Since I haven't installed mine yet how are the "super blades" working in the winter? Do they ice up and lose effectiveness like conventional blades?
Thanks,
Brian

Re: Govenor??
Does the SVT have a govenor on it? I was just wondering cause i was going 135 like last month and was wondering if I would still be able to go more?? 8) 135 is about it on a normally aspirated SVT, you want to go faster get forced induction or Nitrous. And no, there is no limiter on the SVT. :twist...

Re: remote car starter
I had to put off the remote start for a bit due to some family issues but BZ audio has a good rep and has done quite a few installs that my brother knows about (St. Paul Firefighter). They just don't tap into the existing harness with crimp on splices all wire to wire connections are soldered and sh...

Is it a hot rod wannabee? Is it just a tuner done up as a fighter plane? The wheels only make sense as a hot rod knock off, WW2 fighters had aluminum wheels, not wires. I'd say with all the rivets, the pinup girl, the mouth and the holes on the inside of the A-pillar they were going for fighter. Wi...

Congratulations Matt! Can't wait to see you have it up and running I'm jealous. So are you going to send the compressor out to Steigmeier for a stage 5 port right away or are you going to wait 8) As far as your new sig, usually thinking about "kitties" makes me want to masturbate so it's k...
