Re: Ha
I always just assumed those were live axle. Now I find out they've got IRS and inboard brakes. That's even more sexy.

Re: Older Turbos (pre-EMS)
I've always been kinda-sorta interested in the SVO Mustangs, but the more I look into it, the less appealing they become. I think the biggest issue would be parts availability. I checked Forced4 Motorsports (Steve's suggestion), but they appear to be out of business. The 2.3 Turbo is pretty stout. ...

Re: Knock Sensor?
... I'm still in the middle of my 5.0 944 swap. This thread sure has gone off topic. Do you have a thread somewhere for this project? Sounds interesting. I've got some pictures and stuff on my Tumblr site , but I haven't been updating it as much as I should. I do have pictures of the torque tube ad...

Re: Knock Sensor?
I would also like to avoid a live-axle, so if I was going to do it, I'd find a way to do IRS. So a thunderbird for the donor vehicle? A guy should be able to find one of those unwanted cars pretty easy/"cheap". Or maybe a Miata or BMW. Nobody says all the parts have to come from the same ...

Re: something about my car
And revived an old thread, too. I hadn't seen it before and I was confused by how people could have so few miles on cars as old as they are. My '00 ZX3 is around 202k right now.lox222 wrote:Just hit 85,000

Re: e-85 cold starts
I think what hell is trying to say is that... I'm not sure what but i had a thought and its gone. In my head there is no wasted spark as the engine fires two cylinders at time. Or if it were firing one at a time then... it's not so there. I do think it goes 1&3 then 2&4 or it might be 1&...
