Cool, that's what i started doing last winter, before i'd let it warm for 10-15 min. cause i'm really anal about my car and want to make sure i'm doing whats best. But now i just wait like 5 min or so. In regards to the road salt and rust, are there any suggestions other than washing it often to kee...

Wintertime protection
Hey guys, i unfortunately have to drive my car through the winter and last year i just made sure to wash it weekly so the salt wouldn't build up and i have seat covers that i put on to protect the interior from crappy sludge and snow. Re: Looking for a capacitor
can someone explain to me why it is that a Capacitor supposedly doesn't do anything. I had it on my old system in my truck and it absolutely made a difference. What i had before was a massive system, but when it would really pound without the caps all my lights would dim and once i got the caps i ne...

Re: Looking for a capacitor
Dang, that was a lot of information. First off, i've never heard of the big three and i know absolutely nothing or cars in general for that matter. If it weren't for Pepsi50195 i wouldn't be in this game due to my own auto incompetence. So i'm leaving it up to Matt (Pepsi) on this three thing or a c...

Re: Looking for a capacitor
When i look at these capacitors they either say 20/24 volts or 16/20 volts it seems. I can gather that the 20/24 volt is better cause it costs more but what the hell does it mean?

Re: Looking for a capacitor
I'm not really looking to make my own persay. I just want to buy one but have more selection, i know there's always ebay but i'm looking for any other car audio sites out there with stuff. I'm sorta picky about how it looks too. I want a black or carbon fiber one most likely
