Stop doing that, you could damage the caliper. You need to compress while turning the brake piston in. There is a small metal cube you can buy that attaches to a ratchet, which you have to push on while turning. Or the easier way is you can rent the specialty press tool from an auto parts store. Hop...

Those splines appear to have a lot of wear....

You should have no wear on that part normally....

I'm with Steve, does your input shaft look the same?

It looks to me like the disc was jammed on the input shaft, mis aligned, and therefore spun wearing out the splines on both.....

I wonder what the price point will be..... It would make a much more affordable option to a new Focus ST as a daily driver for people, or a tuner as well.
