Re: Ignition issue

No, there is no physical problem with the twisting of the key. I found this to be a common issue online, but it does not apply to my problem. Twist - Nothing - Let reset Twist - Nothing - Let reset Twist - Nothing - Let reset Twist - Nothing - Let reset Twist - Cranking - Let reset Engine running ju...

Re: Ignition issue

Steve, could you give me a quote on the two clutch switches? If I were to pick them up today but find that I didn't need to open and use them, could I return them later? It's my daily driver that I have to bring offline, and it's currently the only car I have that runs.

Re: Ignition issue

Hmm...I can't look at it right now but I will later. Should I try running a jumper on both of them at the same time?

Ignition issue

I have been struggling with an intermittent issue with my 03 svt. My car has the capability to startup just fine. No excessive cranking or anything. Sometimes when I turn the key nothing happens. Not even an attempt to crank. I could keep twisting the ignition over and over and nothing happens. Then...

Re: Ice Racing

Sorry I missed it. That was quite a ways to drive. Love the shot of the RX-7. I always love to see that team drift through the corners.

Re: WTS Roush front bumper cover

Is this bumper still for sale? Is there anything structurally wrong with it? Cracks? Chips?

Thanks

WTB: Focus SVT Front Bumper Cover

I put a bunch of cracks in the bumper when I understeered the car into a snow bank during one of our recent snow storms. I now have blizzaks, so the traction issue has been addressed. Now I need to focus on making it look purdy again. I have a silver SVT EAP. Same color would be preferred but other ...

Re: Team TechnoRally

I believe it's more due to the cost of logistics. The mortgage/rent comes first.

Re: BIR MAP Proving Grounds

Nope I'm running Megasquirt. I have been there to dyno cars with friends but have never heard that they can load the dyno. I'd really prefer to do my own tuning though. Everything I do on the car is approached as a learning experiment. I am after the knowledge, understanding and experience, not just...

Re: BIR MAP Proving Grounds

Nice to hear on the Crank Evac. I will be using the exhaust tapping method for evacuating the crankcase. Have you had any experience with anyone in the Twin Cities who runs a loaded dyno? My friends scheduled time at a place and the operator working with them only knew how to do sweeps and did not k...

Re: Team TechnoRally

Cool, I wish I could have taken some networking classes. That is one thing I wish would have fit into my schedule when I was going through school.
