You can put pretty much any motor in the Focus that you want, It's just a matter of making stuff work together.

I have seen SVT Contour 2.5's, Taurus SHO powerplants (both front and rear engine) and multiple V8's from 302's to full blown 2004 Cobra drivetrains with the IRS and all.

That car used to sit at the car wash at the Roseville Target store didn't it?

If so I remember watching it morph from stone stock to the way it looks in those pics, I never knew at the time that it had a turbo though.

If it helps you save money I have the battery relocation kit for the Vortech still that mounts the battery behind the bumper.
