Re: So I've been looking for a gen one focus.
Did you make an offer on it yet? http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/5280214852.html How much did you sell it for? How long ago was that? I got him to around two grand. The trans is good and a lot of the body parts are good. It has a full svt exhaust and I think it only needs both o2 s to run...

So it made it to my drive way. About to revoke this guys privileges on owning this car. Needs lots of work. If some one offered 1200 would get a good project car. I'm sad I am going to cry for a bit.

Re: So I've been looking for a gen one focus.
Sorry. I got four grand from the sale. Its hard to give up the Vic now I got it dialed into how I like things. The Vic I'd say could hang with my old car , even in the turns now. I think its best to let some one else beat this bish for a while . that cossie engine is sweet thought, just bellers up t...

Re: So I've been looking for a gen one focus.
I sold it three years ago. It had 78 k on it, now its at 87 k. Its sat for two years now. It needs a timing belt, clutch, springs, parking brake cables, the bottom of the drivers door is bubble rusting. These are the things that should have been done after I sold it, cues its the crap I didn't want ...

Re: F***ing SVT brake pad retaining spring
For your miss. Check your pig tail at the coil pack. When the dog bone flexes it pulls wires out the connector. This is why I make the hockey puck dog bone. The cost of 2 hocky puck, ford f150 caliper slide and some jb weld.

Re: Putting a 4.6 in a Focus
A 4.6 is as wide as a 460. I'd say use the 302 windsor and move it out to 347. Its narrow and light and cheap.to service the drive train you'd be dropping the sub frame . oil changes the engine remains in , all other jobs out she comes.plus with the mustang having a three hundred thirty horse turbo ...

Re: 2016 Focus RS
The bad thing is its drive train is computer controlled. So tuning is gonna be a pain . it has a drift button? It too is going to fall victim to oil consumption like all new cars...thanks low tension rings, direct injection and extended iul changes.

Its a good kit and very flexible... that one looks rode hard and put up wet. I know some one that just bought a svt swap. Would this fit the svt head?
