Re: WTB right cv shaft support bracket

i have a right cv with a bad boot. i dont thing the bracket is attatched tho is it? My guess is that you left the main bracket attached to your engine when you replaced the CV shaft/assembly. I need the actual bracket that mounts to the engine and holds the shaft in place at the bearing. This is wh...

Re: Deals on OEM and Ford Racing parts.

Well first off that's the wrong part number for an SVT, next I'm wondering if you need the actual bracket that bolts to the block or just the strap that retains the hanger bearing to the bracket? I actually need the part that mounts to the block. I have a new CV/axle assembly as well as a new cap/s...

WTB right cv shaft support bracket

2003 Ford Focus SVT I am looking for the support bracket that holds the right cv shaft bearing in place. I talked with the ford dealership and they told me it was a discontinued part. They gave me the part number 3S4Z-3K305-HA. Does anyone have a spare bracket they would be willing to sell or know o...

Re: Deals on OEM and Ford Racing parts.

I have discovered that it is a bit hard to find a replacement for the right CV shaft hanger bracket. The guys at Ford dealer told me the part number was 3S4Z-3K305-HA. Any chance you would be able to order one up for me or point me in the right direction?

Re: Deals on OEM and Ford Racing parts.

Hi Steve,

Could you give me a quotes on the right CV shaft and the CV axel clamp assembly thingy for a 2003 ford focus SVT ZX3? Is everything dropshipped now? I'm still living in the White Bear area.

Thanks,
Jake

Re: Changing Fuel Pump - Special Tool

I tried the same thing with a 3/8" extender and rubber mallet. I'll give it another try. Wasn't sure if I was going to break something. Thanks for the additional detail on the fuel pump retainer.

Changing Fuel Pump - Special Tool

Hey everyone. I am trying to change out the fuel pump on my 03 focus. Does anyone have the special tool to unscrew the pump from the tank? I tried to jimmy rig all sorts of tools on that cap to twist it off. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Clutch Went - Time for upgrades

All I saw was the tranny. The engine was sold already. I would suspect that anything from the radiator back might be available. It was a salvage business so expect to pay salvage prices.

Re: Clutch Went - Time for upgrades

That is awesome. I feel better now that I am not alone. That other tranny in Eau Clair showed the same wear profile on the input shaft. I do know that that tranny came out of a crashed vehicle. It looked like it met a deer in a rather ungraceful matter. Whether the clutch was on the wrong way is unk...

WTB Tranny or Input Shaft from SVT 6-speed

Hey everyone,

I am looking for a SVT 6 speed tranny. Let me know if you have a good working one available or one for parts that has a good input shaft.

Thanks,
Big Boy

Re: Clutch Went - Time for upgrades

I did't know the seller personally since I picked it up in Florida. It has been a while since I was part of a project with a torn apart transmission. How easy is it to swap shafts? I'm getting to the point where I'd prefer to get the job done by someone rather than do it myself.

Re: Clutch Went - Time for upgrades

That's a bummer. I was hoping to just start buttoning her back up. Maybe it will work with the part patalrob has available.
