I have discovered that it is a bit hard to find a replacement for the right CV shaft hanger bracket. The guys at Ford dealer told me the part number was 3S4Z-3K305-HA. Any chance you would be able to order one up for me or point me in the right direction?

I tried the same thing with a 3/8" extender and rubber mallet. I'll give it another try. Wasn't sure if I was going to break something. Thanks for the additional detail on the fuel pump retainer.

Hey everyone. I am trying to change out the fuel pump on my 03 focus. Does anyone have the special tool to unscrew the pump from the tank? I tried to jimmy rig all sorts of tools on that cap to twist it off. Any help would be appreciated.

All I saw was the tranny. The engine was sold already. I would suspect that anything from the radiator back might be available. It was a salvage business so expect to pay salvage prices.

That is awesome. I feel better now that I am not alone. That other tranny in Eau Clair showed the same wear profile on the input shaft. I do know that that tranny came out of a crashed vehicle. I did't know the seller personally since I picked it up in Florida. It has been a while since I was part of a project with a torn apart transmission. How easy is it to swap shafts? I'm getting to the point where I'd prefer to get the job done by someone rather than do it myself.
