Depends how bad they are most of the time compounding and polishing will work, worst case wet sanding and clearcoat..they have kits you can buy. But I just buff em out...

just finished mine 2003 SVT,no cel and runs alot better it appered cam timing was off from the factory! not too bad of a job to do with the timing tools :) and a bunch of special tools that i did not have, but do now 8) I also have the ztec and svt timing belt procedure pdf files if anyone needs em ...

Little update here...got my short stroke coilovers done. had to removed stock spring perches and remove a 2"section from the tube then welded on the coilover perch on, so by default im 2" lower with the coilovers at full hight :D http://i40.tinypic.com/11vjy53.jpg http://i42.tinypic.com/2m...

Major bummer... :( :( :( :( The sways are not in stock and have to be ordered from Eibach in CA. He said at least two weeks till I get them. :( I think I will go ahead and install your old springs on Monday though. They would charge me seperately for installing the sways anyways. I'll post pics aft...
