If you went w/this set-up http://www.performancedistributors.com/batteries.htm you end up with a sealed battery, and a top line recharger that will not overcharge the battery. ~$200

Re: MOWOG#4 MAC AutoCross
Where can I find the different classes available to see where my Focus fits in? By July I will have a FS Stage 1 Turbo, and no cats on the car.
Thanks,
Tim

Re: Feeler: 17" Wheels
soul, Go over to FJ and do a search on Painting in the Wheel forum and you will see some very good posts. Looks like all you need is some good prep, a can of Duplicolour Wheel Paint, and the same in Clear Coat. The results that some of the guys posted are factory quality. Also, sounds like it holds ...

Re: Painting Bumpers EDITED
Yeah, but Steve; he was painting valve covers . Shoot, I know a guy that was painting some valve covers over in Baveria, Germany, back in 1940...well, to get the point. It went terribly wrong, and the result was Wold War 2. BUT I am not going to paint my valve covers, just some bumpers...so I should...

I am not a big fan of the US Mk 1.5 version...but that is a good looking car you have there.
Almost has some BTCC looks when viewed in profile.
Nice.

Re: FS lip pre fitment/install
See if this works out. First attempt at photo-chopping a car. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e234/tahrndt/fslipfront_Red.jpg and now in black To me it looks better in red, but it is your car. You can always have the paint mixed and put in a rattle can for you at some local paint shops. http://i40...

How the hell could Omni's Focus even be in the running? I mean, wtf, hasn't he ever heard of...what is the word...hmmm...ummm PAINT? Omni's will be nice when he gets around to painting it, but right now, without a doubt, Davis' car is easily the best looking and set up of all of them. Good Luck, Tim

Re: FS: uBer Rare Badges!
I will offer you $1,000 Afghani's for both! But that is my last offer. Maybe I'll throw in some Qatari Riyals too, but I would have to steal them from my son's scrap book. Oh wait a sec, I also have some gen-u-wine pocket lint/desert sand from the Ghan. That will really sweaten the offer I am sure. ...

Re: Painting Bumpers EDITED
Well since the parts would come in "primer" condition, and I am a complete cheap ass bastard, it looks like I am going to either find some friend that will "paint for beer" or do it myself. I mean how much could I fuck it up? It's not like if I screw it up, my car will burst into...

Re: FRPP Borla flexback exhaust fittment issue.
So let me get this straight, if I step up to this after buying my FS Turbo (I have the D23), it will fit perfectly? and come with a resonator? I currently have the 2.25" FS "stealth" exhaust and love the lack of rice noise coming from my rear end.
Thanks,
Tim

Re: FS: uBer Rare Badges!
Those are no joke my friend. Those badges are authentic domestic production Euro equipment. Tough to find these days.
Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!!!
I am only sorry that I did not have a chance to buy these. Damn the luck.

The Auto Zone used to be right off of Coon Rapids BLVD and Hanson or there abouts. Like I said, it has been 15 months since I have been home.

Re: be on the look out!
Back when I was going to University of Mankato, I was driving home from the studio around midnight on a Tues or something. I sort of pulled out in front of a guy on Main St. The speed limit is 30 or something and he was about 30 meters from the cross road I was pulling off on. Anyway, I guess he too...
