Dumb ass question here,
But with the D23, wouldn't this mess with the MAF unless you have a program to tell the 'puter it is getting more air?
???

Re: Car dead. FIXED, THANKS "trahma"
Yeah, it was one of those big ass green ones, not like the small fuses under the dash. I tried pulling one out earlier, and it wouldn't budge. After your post, I used a pliers and yanked the falker right out, blown. $3.00 at Napa and I am good to go. Cheers, PS. I had more help here, with the limite...

Re: FUCK!!!!!!! Car dead.
I pulled and looked at every fuse in the car. I did not pull those giant ones out under the hood, but that will be next. I tried push starting it and nothing. I have in the past been able to coast down my driveway, pop the clutch and it comes alive. Not today. DAMN!!! I want to go to Tousley tomorro...

Re: FUCK!!!!!!! Car dead.
Power windows DO NOT work, even if I have the key in the ACC position. In addition to those, there are no "tones" when I open my door and have the key in the ignition. The car "beeps" if I turn the lights "on" and pull my keys out, but not when I have my keys in and the...

Re: FUCK!!!!!!! Car dead.
Haven't done the fuses under the hood, yet. Going out there right now.
My car doesn't flash ANYTHING at me, so it is so pissed at me it is just giving me the silent treatment.
Will be back soon.

Car dead. FIXED, THANKS "trahma"
Sorry, Just trying to wire in an additional power outlet so I can run my GPS and not take up the one on the dash. I was tapping into the fuse for the fog lights as they are only on with the car. Something went ZAP! and the car is dead. The radio, lights, horn, etc work. But I can't get it to turn ov...

Re: FIRST ANNUAL MNFOC CAR SHOW!!!!!!
Bah!
A good support team can pull the jet-turbine engine/tranny pack out of an 1,500 Hp M1 Tank and replace the whole pack in under an hour. How much more time could it take to pull out a little 110hp 4 cyl. engine?

Steve,
you mean that when you are "cranking" on the bolt, the car is actually moving?
How about simply parking it up against some im-movable object...say like a wall?

Re: Detail shop?
When you guys are talking about getting it detailed. What exactly does that entail?
Compound, buff, wax, wheels, tires (outside)
Vacuum, "dust", windows, clean (inside)
?
OR is it just a wash and wax, then clean and vacuum?

Re: best alignment specs?
Hoover Wheel Alignment and Suspension down on Lowery in NE MPLS.
Figured that all they do is alignments and suspension, so I can't go too wrong.
Cheers,
Tim
