I freakin snapped off the ZTW's antenna by accident the other day. Now I'm left with a pseudo shark fin and el'crapo reception. Of course, there is no piece for me to twist out to replace the antenna stalk, so I may have to replace the whole dam thing....

is it a a bitch to yank the trashed one off....??????????????

it is very easy to replace, when I snapped mine I bought 3 new mounts so I would have extras :D Takes all of two minutes to replace the mount. I carry them in my ride if you want to meet up and snatch one. The Hardest part for you is to remove the old part out of your original antenna.

Just buy a stock antenae, from someone on here for a few bucks. Super easy to replace. Its one bolt located under your dome light.

A bunch of us have broken an antenae base on here.

If anyone needs them the new base is $5.67 and if you can't get the piece out of the old antenna a replacement mast is $22.90.

I have them here all the time.

Well, It took five years to break one off my 2000 and it survived countless car washes.

I have yet to break one off my SVT which has also survived numerous car washes.

It seems that snow brushes and the accompanying cold are the worst enemy of the Focus antenna.
