 Dyno'd.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdzmR-5h ... re=channel126whp/130wtq. I was hoping for 130/135, but whatever. I need a REAL exhaust and a tune and I think 140 isn't out of the question.

 Re: Dyno'd.
I figured you where shooting pretty high, didn't want to break your heart though. Talk to Roger about new exhaust yet? I agree that your current exhaust is a big part of the lower than expected numbers. Smoother pipe, less restrictive resonators (see below) and larger diameter and you should gain the 5 at least. Honestly I'd wait on the tune. Do the exhaust first, get some adj. cam gears then go after the tune. D-tec is like the zetec right? Can sometimes pick up a few HP from cam timing. http://www.circletrack.com/enginetech/c ... index.htmlhttp://www.acoustics.asn.au/conference_ ... ers/34.pdfhttp://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/upload ... 795969.pdfThere is one more I'm looking for but can't find, it's cut-aways of various muffler designs. Basically the muffler I gave you works, but can be restrictive, the resonator you have is the same baffle design and can be restrictive. I doubt you ever have but if you look in the can I have on the back it's a straight through design that is done the right way, none of the louvers protrude into the exhaust flow, it's more of a steel mesh looking deal. Dynomax mufflers are a similar design, but they don't use SS internal components. Flowmaster uses baffles and no packing, alright but can sound tinny W/O a resonator. Magnaflow is flat out junk. Thin cases, shitty welds ... but they polish them to look real nice, yay. Hooker, my favorite. Simpler has an aerochamber on the GTA, I had one on the Conquest. Awesome muffler and crazy how much it can actually quite a car, I mean you can see straight through the damn thing. Stay away from anything that says 'turbo muffler', all junk. Realize you know most of this already, but ...

 Re: Dyno'd.
Well as of now I'm going to leave the exhaust. I have to fix a rattle problem that has turned up and I FINALLY got around to installing my rear sway bar. I tell you what, that is the single best thing I have put on yet. I noticed a LARGE gain in control at speed around corners. It's pretty crazy how much just the stock SES sway bar added. I just have to get the small leak fixed, the weird noise with the exhaust figured out, and I should be set for PG. Anyone else going to bu there?
Also, tell me what you guys think about the way my exhaust sounds.

 Re: Dyno'd.
Exhaust sounds good, maybe a more open muffler design would give it a bit more depth of sound though.

 Re: Dyno'd.
I don't actually have a muffle right now. 3 resonators.

 Re: Dyno'd.
DynoJet. MAP's dyno has been know to be giving to AWD cars, and be pretty accurate to 2wd's, from what I have heard.

 Re: Dyno'd.
How much did that cost? Did they do any tuning?

 Re: Dyno'd.
I wouldn't have MAP touch my car for tuning. I doubt they know much about Ford motors. $75 for 3 pulls with a quick cool down.
